Eutelsat tooway
Tooway is geared towards less demanding and private customers, but still retains it's complete independence of terrestrial infrastructure and provides sattelite internet. Users antenna system both receives and sends data via satellite and towards Eutelsat's center in Turin. This is where the link to the Internet originates from.
User's data usage through the satellite link is not limited, but is subject to Fair Usage Policy. As all other shared-bandwidth service providers, the system is monitoring average usage for each individual user through several time windows, and decides the unrestricted data transfer threshold according to user's selected data plan. When the data transferred inside an alloted time window greatly exceeds the calculated threshold, data throttling is to be expected during high system capacity usage.
Service contract and data plan are signed for a minimum of twelve months, and our users are provided by all the necessary equipment, installation and configuration, with the option of loaning the equipment as well.
